The Annual Community Recognition Awards were presented at the Annual Parish Meeting held on 24 April 2025.
These awards are given to individuals, businesses or organisations to recognise their work or achievements in the community of Stanton, or in some other way their contribution to the life of the Parish. Anyone can nominate their friends, co-workers or business suppliers of good service to receive an award and Councillors will then consider and decide the award winners for the year.

The Council would like to congratulate -
David Sexton - in recognition of his enthusiasm, energy and support to the Stanton Branch of the Royal British Legion, as Chairman, for over 20 years. But also his compassion, providing comfort and support for others in times of need. He fully represents the Royal British Legion's bywords "Service before Self".
Julie Pritchard - in recognition of embracing village life by setting up her business which employs local staff and being flexible with work hours. She goes the extra mile for clients by running additional errands. Sheis also actively involved with local churches and the W.I.
Paul Field - in recognition of his dedication to preparing the newspapers for delivery andhelping to deliver them when needed. He is always reliable, helpful and cheerful.
